摘要
This article aims to show the municipal/urban solid waste management framework in the basin of Ivinhema, located in the southern of Mato Grosso do Sul. Making a survey/analysis on public policy, the material shows how still the aforementioned/mentioned region suffers from a lack of integrated and planned efforts of solid waste, based on the law 12.305 / 2010, which established the National Policy of solid waste, as well as the other instruments provided for in this law and other legislation in force in the country. The material waiting to reach the greatest number of people, demonstrating the importance of the discussion on the subject, are the numerous recurring environmental impacts of wrong ways to dispose of waste, either by the social implications mainly taken the form of recyclable material collectors and other problems such as odors, visual pollution that can implement it. It is further understood that while the whole country is below the expected ideal conditions, Ivinhema river basin is far behind the national situation
