摘要
The present study has two objectives: firstly, to explain and compare the measures regarding translation and interpretation which are adopted in different health centres in the United Kingdom, Germany and Spain; and secondly, to detail some of the most solicited and frequently used technological tools which are designed to solve communicative problems arising in these centres. After a brief review of the state of the art, I will present: (a) data obtained through a questionnaire sent to various health centres, and (b) information extracted from a study of different technological tools which facilitate multilingual communication in health centres. In the conclusions, I will focus on some ethical issues which may be studied in the future.
