摘要:
The decrease of glucose content during storage of whole blood samples is especially high in the blood of newborns. This glucose loss is only insufficiently reduced by using sodium fluoride (final concentration 2 g/l) as an additive. D-mannose (final concentration 2 g/l) is a much better preservative than sodium fluoride. The best results are achieved by adding both D-mannose and sodium fluoride.
