摘要
Optical transitions for a pair of Coulomb-coupled quantum dots in a magnetic field are investigated. It is shown that for a parabolic confinement potential, the electric-dipole transition energies reveal interesting anticrossing behavior which is due to the many-electron interaction. The results for the ground-state single-particle density in these systems also reflect the correlated behavior of the electrons. Qualitatively similar results are obtained for electron and hole dots (type-II quantum dots).
