摘要：
The paper contains quantitative data on the feeding of a ctenophore Mnemiopsis leidyi in the open Black Sea. Food composition, filling of the gastrovascular cavity, relationship a ration with food concentration and dry weight of the consument were studied. It was determined that the ctenophore is, at one hand, a varacious predator and, at other hand, unpretentious animal that can starve for a long time.
