摘要：
Postsurgical meningitis is an uncommon but serious postoperative complication of intracranial surgery. Central nervous system infection due to Haemophilus influenzae type D is exceedingly rare. We describe a case of postsurgical meningitis due to H. influenza type D in an immunocompetent patient after transphenoidal pituitary adenoma resection.
