DISPROPORTINATION OF TOLUENE INTO BENZENE AND XYLENES ON H-MORDENITE ZEOLITES WITH VARIOUS SILICATE MODULES

摘要
The paper examined an influence of SiO2/Al2O3 molar ratio on catalytic properties of dealuminated mordenites in the reaction of disproportination of toluene into benzene and xylene in the temperature range 300-3800 degrees C, V=3.0 yac(-1), H-2:CH=3:1. It revealed that samples of SiO2/Al2O3 = 17-20 molar ratio are notable for the greater activity and selectivity under the explored conditions. As compared with samples of natural mordenite, the synthetic mordenite exhibits greater activity and selectivity.
