摘要
This paper describes the process of hardening steel. All the transformations of the steel that occur during cooling tempered detail are described and the ways of hardening steel are discussed. The division of quenching oils: according to ISO 6743-14 and the operating temperature are quoted. Discusses used in oil hardening, types of additives and base oils, as well as their characteristic properties.
