摘要
The research was developed in the manufacturing Mipymes of El Empalme-Ecuador, Canton in order to identify the existence of management by processes in them. The investigation was descriptive, in which a simple random probabilistic sampling was applied. We worked with a confidence level of 95.00% and a margin of error of 5.00%. The formula for finite populations was applied, resulting in a sample of 82 MSMEs from the manufacturing sector. It was known that their owners are unaware of process management techniques, so 73.17% of the interviewees do not have improvement plans in order to improve their actions; 67.07% lack knowledge as to the consequences of the failures in the process; 97.56% does not have any system to detect failures and the level of updating procedures to execute operations is low with 73.17 percent.
