摘要
Excess volumes of three ternary mixtures were measured at 303.15 K. The mixtures included p-chlorotoluene and hetpane as common components. The non-common components were 1-pentanol, 1-hexanol and 1-heptanol. Excess volume is negative in all the three ternary mixtures over the range of composition studied. The negative excess volume suggests that structural effects prevail in these mixtures. The experimental results were also used to check the capability of the predictive relations.
