摘要
The objective of the present study was to verify the acute effect of the static stretching in the performance of the jumps with countermovement and without countermovement in soccer players. Five male individuals with ages between 15 and 25 years were recruited to participate of the study. To determine the acute effect of the static passive stretching it was suggested two different protocols. The first one used stretching exercises before carrying through the tests and the other used only one general warm-up. We conclude that it had a decrease in the vertical height for the jump with countermovement and without countermovement for the protocol that used static stretching.
