摘要
In this paper, the spatially varying point spread function (PSF) of the general cone-beam x-ray reconstruction formula is derived. It is proved that the vertical integral of the PSF is a two-dimensional delta-function. Therefore, although the general cone-beam formula is not exact in nature, the vertical integral of the reconstructed three-dimensional image is equal to that of the actual image. The band-limited version of the PSF is also derived. The PSF of the general cone-beam formula is simulated, based on which the reconstruction resolution can be approximately inferred.
