摘要
Based on 10 years of experiments and experience an improved technique for drying plants is described. This technique has been developed especially for plants difficult to dry, for example some monocotyledons as Orchidaceae and Liliaceae. Using four 100 W infrared radiater for each 50-60 sheets the most of the plants can be dried within 24 hours, independent of weather conditions during collection of plants. The technique enables the optimal conservation of colours, even of purple and blue colours, for dicotyledons as well as for monocotyledons.
