摘要
In the present paper, a relation suggested by the authors has been applied in some liquid metals to study the density and coefficient of thermal expansion as a function of temperature. The liquid metals studied in the temperature range between the melting and the boiling points are: sodium, potassium, cesium, magnesium, indium, copper, barium, arsenic and uranium. The overall conclusion drawn is that there is an excellent agreement in the entire range of temperature in each case. Further, a theoretical justification of the relation used is discussed.
