摘要
Mexico has deficiencies in learning mathematics, as is shown by the international standardized tests, where the results are found in the last places within the parameters of the OECD. This research sought to answer the question How to improve the learning of mathematics through the consideration of learning styles? A study was conducted with 34 high school freshmen in a public school; the research was qualitative descriptive analyzed data from instruments such as the ILS inventory to identify learning styles, observation, interview, questionnaire and performance analysis. With the information obtained, strategies for teaching and learning were used for a month and a half and the results indicate that students were motivated, with a positive attitude towards mathematics and expressed a better understanding.
