COMPLEXING OF 6-CHLOROPURINE WITH SOME TRANSITION-METAL IONS IN AQUEOUS-SOLUTION

摘要
Aqueous solution equilibria have been investigated for the systems 6-chloropurine/manganese(II), -iron(II), -cobalt(II), -nickel(II), -copper(II), and -zinc(II) by means of glass electrode potentiometry. The identities of the complex species formed and the corresponding formation constants have been determined with the aid of computer analysis. By comparison with literature formation constants for a related ligand, the complexation site has been proposed.
