摘要
A broadening of overall Nd:glass amplifier gain bandwidth is demonstrated. The use of combined active medium consisting of phosphate and silicate glass allows the operation with input pulses as short as 0.4 ps at high gain rates. The limit of pass band extension employing combined active media is discussed.
