摘要
The comparative study between the teaching of Geography, specifically Cartography, in San Juan, Argentina and Cuba enabled us arriving to a group of major conclusions, given that since it is true that the use of technological means (digital ones) is essential in the current moments, it is also quite true that in the case of geography these means must constitute teaching aids used as indispensable support in each and every class of the subject, but never to supplant the functions of the mural map, since this means, along with the atlas and the workbook, constitute an inseparable and irreplaceable triad in the development of abilities for the work with cartographic materials. In San Juan, the use of these digital means is excessive, since it is practiced with all the advantages and possibilities they offer, but the work with the mural map is neglected. In our country, on the other hand, in spite we lack the technological devices required, the existent ones are not properly used in circumstances such as Geography lessons.
