摘要
A new architecture is presented to optically self-route photonic ATM switching. Two wavelengths are used to carry clock-data and address signals, respectively. This allows to independent processing of both signals at each switching mode; so the complexity of optical routing controllers is reduced while the reliability of address decoding is improved.
