Epidural injection techniques are performed by experienced interventionalists as a part of conservative treatment regime for spinal disorders for decades. Image-guidance provides safety and precision in these procedures. The following article presents an overview and technical description of common computed tomography-guided and fluoroscopy-guided epidural injections on the cervicothoracic and lumbar spine.
