摘要
Several areas of Protected Areas were created in the world, following the environmental discourse of the need for preservation and conservation of nature, having as an objective rationalization of natural resources and environmental services to guarantee the welfare of present and future generations. Sometimes purely bureaucratic impede the realization of these areas, such as lack of technical studies for the delineation and understanding of the biodiversity of the area. Therefore this study aims to analyze the environmental and social degradation of UC State Park Repent and Poet Juvenal de Oliveira. We used the dialectical method theoretical survey and data collection, fieldwork, interviews and photographic record and also planialtimetric map. The results demonstrate that the area has decreased by around for 38%, due to construction surveying the surroundings was changed by deforestation and disturbance of soil, the social impact is high because the families residing in the surrounding are affected due to restrictions on the use and occupation, that residents unaware of existence of the institutionalization of the park, and were not consulted on the creation of UC, have not benefited from any social project, have not yet consulted the impacts of construction of the project, which has not been resolved the issue of compensation for effecting the area as a public space, the need for conservation and legalization.
