摘要
Isolated fish remains including a tooth of the oldest described frilled shark, Chlamydoselachus thomsoni sp. nov are described and figured from the Santa Marta Formation (Santonian-Campanian, Late Cretaceous) of James Ross Island, Antarctic Peninsula. Their geological and palaeoecological context is considered in the light of recent geological studies. © 1990, Antarctic Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
