摘要
JIS SF 50 forged and JIS SCMn 2A cast steels were used as a homogeneous and a faulty material, respectively. Rotating bending fatigue tests were performed for the specimen sizes from 8 to 40 mm in diameter. The fatigue limits of these specimens are discussed in terms of the cyclic strain measured on specimen surface and the scatter in fatigue strength due to defects.
