摘要
Background: Cesarean section scar pregnancy is considered to be the rarest form of ectopic pregnancy and is a potentially life-threatening condition. Case: The case of a patient with a pregnancy implanted within a previous cesarean section scar, and dehiscence of the scar at 7 weeks' gestation, is presented. Results: The diagnosis was confirmed using different imaging options and the patient was successfully treated surgically. Conclusions: Transvaginal ultrasongraphy is the initial step for diagnosis, and Doppler ultrasongraphy and MRI are crucial tools for confirmation of the diagnosis of cesarean section scar pregnancy. To obtain a complete recovery and a satisfactory result, abdominal exploration should be considered as first-line therapy for this rare condition.
