摘要
This work was to evaluate the effect of the volume of water and imbibition period in the electrical conductivity test to evaluate the vigor of four seed lots Solanum sessiliflorun and relate these results to the tests of germination, first count, seedling length, emergence index and emergence rate. The electrical conductivity test was conducted with four repetitions of 50 seeds, imbibed in 30 and 50 mL of water at 30 degrees C for 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 24, and 48 hours. The electrical conductivity test was efficient to evaluate Solanum sessiliflorum seeds vigor. Better results were obtained when samples of 50 seeds, soaked for 2 hours in 30 mL of water were used.
