摘要
Poverty and social exclusion are categories that contribute to the dehumanization not only of space in general but also of public space in particular, considered as a space of freedom, of democratic expression, and of socialization and difference-resolving. The lack and the deficiency of adequate public spaces allow us to analyze one aspect of the social exclusion to which a great part of the outskirt population is submitted. This is not just an extremely hard situation for an individual or a family, but it also results in either the loss or the weakening of the social ties and of the rights and guarantees so arduously conquered by society.
