LOW-TEMPERATURE OXIDATION OF CARBON-MONOXIDE BY OXYGEN CATALYZED WITH SUPPORTED CHLORIDE COMPLEXES OF PD(II) AND CU(II)

摘要
It is established by potentiometric and kinetic techniques that at specific Pd(II):Cu(II):Cl- ratios, oxidation with oxygen takes place in a steady-state regime. It is shown that the catalysis is effected by Pd(II) and Cu(II) chloride complexes and not by their reduced forms. Supported and dissolved Pd(II)/Cu(II) catalysts for the oxidation of CO with analogous properties have been observed.
