摘要：
Several substituted 5-pyrazolones and coumarins having long alkyl chain in the molecule were prepared. Their structure was confirmed on the basis of IR, mass, H-1 and C-13 NMR spectral data and elemental analysis. Antimicrobial activity of these compounds was also determined and discussed in relation to the structure.
