SPECTROPHOTOMETRIC DETERMINATION OF PALLADIUM(II) BY REACTION WITH GERMANIUM(II) CHLORIDES

摘要：
A procedure has been developed for the spectrophotometric determination of palladium(II), using germanium(II) chloride. The reaction was carried out in 6.0 M HCl solutions. The concentration of germanium(II) salts in the test solutions and in reference solutions was identical. Measurements of optical density were performed on a spectrophotometer at a wavelength of 330 nm. The effects of deviation from the wavelength and of variation of the HCl concentration on the results of the analysis were evaluated.
