摘要：
An ion source for the MI 1201 mass spectrometer is described. The source increases the sensitivity of the instrument for transplutonium elements by hundreds of times. Analysis of samples without chemical purification is possible. Elements with high ionization potentials and gases can also be analyzed. The ionization chamber can be connected to any type of mass analyzer.
