摘要
Microstructure and phase analyses have been carried out for three different regions of the ribbon, namely, near quenching wheelside, mid-section and the top surface. This paper reports the diffraction analysis of a supersaturated and faulted fcc nickel phase observed to occur in the fast cooled regions of ribbons cast by the free jet chill block melt spinning process.
