摘要：
The evaluation of a stroke unit showed sustained improvement in survival and functional outcomes that were attributed to the combination of acute medical management and dedicated rehabilitation interventions. The management of stroke patients is associated with a sustained reduction in mortality and residual morbidity. The health care system has to provide stroke units for the future.
