摘要：
Discharge of compressed air from various pneumatic systems into atmosphere constitutes one of the sources of high-frequency noise in workshops. In the majority of cases reduction of the exhaust noise of used compressed air is achieved by the installation of absorbers. A design of an absorber, which successfully passed industrial tests of aerodynamic noise reduction, has been developed on the basis of investigations. The principal elements of the absorber are a permeable porous sleeve, a receiving chamber and distributor pipe.
