Characterization of the integration of ICT in school curricula of educational institutions in Barranquilla

摘要
This research paper presents the characteristics of four educative institutions that incorporated ICT to the curriculum. This characterization is supported in the theoretical references expressed by the ICT Integration to the School Curriculum Model (MITICA), from the initials in Spanish. This research is inside the hermeneutic paradigm framework, so it is based on qualitative vision; the design is descriptive. The result analysis reveals that directors and teachers acknowledge the importance of the use of ICT at school; however, the lack of technological resources and the shortage of teaching formation spaces of this topic hampers the pedagogical integration from this technologies to the curricular dynamics.
