The teaching practice in the context of regionalization: Office of the University of Costa Rica

This article analyses teaching in universities located in regions. The role of teaching and education in these regional environments is stated by explaining what happens in the West Regional Center of the University of Costa Rica. Then, "teaching of development" and educative implications in regions are analyzed. Moreover, The article focuses on the problem of how relevant curricula and the educational system should be to make teaching an element of social development.
