摘要
This article is part of a larger research (Camio, 2012), and focuses on the study of culture for innovation generation. The emotional perspective becomes part of the analysis. This is a qualitative research, with a holistic, multiple case design applied to SMEs in the software industry. The aim of this research is to define guidelines for the identification of the existence -or lack thereof-of cultural paradigms which contribute to the generation of innovation; the culture's receptivity of emotional aspects for the innovation generation index (INCEI) is applied. It is believed that this proposal deepens and enriches the study of culture, as the inclusion of emotional aspects improves the diagnosis of the organization's ability to generate sustained innovation processes.
