摘要：

Synthetic process toward the bottom-half portion of C-20 deoxygenated series of bryostatins is described. It is noted that the neighboring group participation consisting of a six-membered ring enabled introduction of an unsaturated bond required for the characteristic alpha,beta-unsaturated ester of the bryostatins.
