Double-Diffusive in MHD Stagnation Point Flow and Heat Transfer of Nanofluid Over a Stretching Sheet

摘要
This article numerically analyzed the double-diffusive effect in MHD stagnation point flow and heat transfer of a nanofluid over a stretching sheet. The non-linear high order ordinary differential equations and their associated boundary conditions are reduced into dimensionless form by similarity variables. The resulting system of equations is then solved numerically using Keller-box method. Numerical results are obtained for velocity, temperature, solute and nanoparticle concentration distribution as well as the local Nusselt number. It is found that the local Nusselt number decreases with an increase in parameters, such as, Pr, Nb, Le, Ld and Ln.
