In an experiment with layers in single cages, which took 322 days, were admixed 0 - 1 - 2 - 3 % clinoptilolite to the maize-soya basic-rations; the rations were by way of calculation iso-energetic. The performance of the layers weren't significantly influenced by the clinoptilolite-addition. Against that through the clinoptilolite the water-content of the excrements were, partly caused through the increasing of the ash-content of the excrements, decreased and also the egg-shell stability were in a little scale improved; also, independent of the closes, the high of the egg-white were decreased and the fan-values for the yolk-colour increased.
