摘要：
This article is about the importance of having comprehension habits and their incidence in the development of the reader's communicative competence. Some considerations about reading comprehension peculiarities and the new scientific contribution are also included. The author assumes the communicative-cognitive approach as a methodological support for the proposal of learning actions to enhance the communicative competence development by means of reading.
