摘要
Since 2005, we are within the UN Decade of Education for Sustainable Development (ESD). In parallel, chemistry education is facing a phase of big change by implementing standards, getting new syllabi, or claims for a change in teaching methods. Anyhow, it is eye-catching that despite the enormous relevance of chemistry for sustainable development the educational reform movement for ESD and the innovation of chemistry teaching are only rare connected. This paper tries contributing bridging the gap. Additionally, it describes a WebQuest that may help to deal with this inter-relation in chemistry teaching and teacher education.
