摘要
Soliton propagation in the presence of spectral filtering, linear, and nonlinear gain is explored. We fix the filtering, and study steady-state soliton parameters for various relations between linear and nonlinear gain. We reveal, that as the linear gain vanishes, the soliton amplitude diverges. Soliton propagation in a system with spectral filtering and purely nonlinear gain is also studied.
