摘要
The primary purpose of this study was to investigate whether certain types of work-family conflict and general role overload account for additional variance in job involvement beyond antecedents that are typically studied (e.g., demographics, job-related variables). Using a heterogeneous sample of 234 employees, hierarchical regression results showed two main effects. The extent to which work role interferes with family role, and incompatibility between parent and work roles, were significant predictors of job involvement. Results and limitations of the study are discussed, as well as suggestions for future research.
