SPAIN: THE PROBLEM OF SO-CALLED "MARRIAGES OF CONVENIENCE"

This paper is an analysis of the problem of so-called "marriages of convenience" very common phenomenon in countries undergoing strong immigration and starting to be quite important in Spain. Thus, in this paper try after forming what is meant by "marriage of convenience", analyze the real reason for this practice, thus, be able to stop in reviewing all the evidence "marriage of convenience" possible ways to combat and control and judicial registrar (desirable) the legality of these marriages, and finally, we will focus on the effects of these marriages, and the current Spanish Immigration Law.
