摘要
Various methods of texture and depth enhancement, collectively called Vision IIITM, have been under development for the past four years. By simultaneously providing both eyes with alternating images that differ in parallax and are time-displaced to coincide with the persistence of the visio-psychological memory rate, the processes relay depth information to the brain in a form that can be translated into a stable three-dimensional image. The processes are suitable for both standard broadcast video and motion-picture productions without equipment modification (other than the camera) and without requiring the viewer to wear special glasses.
