COMPETENCE APPROACH TO TRAINING SOFTWARE ENGINEERS

Based on the conducted analysis of requirements for IT specialists at the modern labor market and the grade system of IT companies, we defined the components of professional competence in the structure of software engineer personality, the formation of which is vital for the successful job placement of university graduates, as well as their further professional and career growth. We reviewed the peculiarities of requirements for employees of different grades and specialties regarding their professional experience, personal qualities, trends and self-reflection. We have developed a structure model of the professional competence for future software engineers.
