摘要
The equilibrium uptake of lead by natural tuff has been investigated. The quantitative description of this phenomenon was obtained by means of the Freundlich isotherm. Breakthrough curves from a column packed with natural tuff and natural sand are also obtained. The column dynamics can be interpreted by a model which includes axial dispersion, a lumped description of inter and intraparticle mass transport and assumes local equilibrium conditions between the pore fluid and the solid phase.
