摘要
The pyramidellid fauna of the Faroe Islands is surveyed. Material collected during the BIOFAR and BIOICE programs, the collections in the Zoological museum in Copenhagen as well as collections made by the author are reported. Most of the pyramidellid material mentioned in ''The Zoology of The Faroes'' has been reexamined. The following species are now known from the Faroe Islands: Odostomia unidentata (MONTAGU, 1803); Odostomia turrita HANLEY, 1844; Brachystomia eulimoides (HANLEY, 1844); Ondina divisa (J. ADAMS, 1797); Ondina perezi (DAUTZENBERG and FISHER, 1925); Ondina diaphana (JEFFREYS, 1848); Chrysallida eximia (JEFFREYS, 1849); Chrysallida pellucida (DILLWYN, 1817); Chrysallida sublustris (FRIELE, 1886); Eulimella ventricosa (FORBES, 1844); Eulimella scillae (SCACCHI, 1835); and Eulimella ataktos WAREN, 1991. A key for the identification of the Faroese pyramidellids is presented. Odostomia acuta JEFFREYS, 1848 not found in any Faroese material, but commonly misidentified is figured.
