摘要：
The enhanced Ill-rate (EFR) GSM speech channel operates at the same gross data sate as the existing full-rate channel. TCH-FS. It is an upgrade for the latter in both speech quality and channel robustness. ln this investigation, a speech and channel coding scheme is devised to produce almost toll quality speech even in severe channel conditions.
