OBSERVATION OF PLEATED STRUCTURES IN A LAYER OF COPPER PHTHALOCYANINE MOLECULES ON GOLD(111) FILM SURFACES

摘要
High resolution images of copper phthalocyanine molecules are obtained on Au (111) film surfaces in air. Pleated structures detected in the layer of these molecules on the film are thought to be due to the weak mechanical deformation of the layer. We are also able to modify these structures by heating.
